The transformation and renovation of this single-family residence, bordering the Pétrusse Valley in Luxembourg City, breathes new life into a historic structure previously modified in 1993 by Léon Glodt. Spanning four to five entirely reimagined levels, the interior has been tailored specifically for a client with a deep passion for art.

Each floor is conceived as a curated succession of visual sequences, designed to let the home unfold progressively rather than revealing itself all at once. Walls, openings, and integrated furnishings are strategically aligned to act as architectural backdrops, carving out deliberate focal points for the artwork on display. To reinforce the museum-like atmosphere desired for this unique home-gallery, bespoke door framing and fine joinery details are meticulously replicated throughout the entire layout, seamlessly stitching the vertical spaces together.

On the exterior, the building's envelope was entirely renovated but left structurally unaltered. This deliberate preservation respects the previous intervention by Léon Glodt, honoring and safeguarding his distinct postmodernist geometries and original color palette.

In contrast, the landscape underwent a complete transformation. The garden was comprehensively redesigned to substantially widen the lower-level terrace, a move that floods the basement with natural light and successfully converts it into a comfortable, fully integrated living space.
